Data Management In-Person
Whether your discipline is in the Humanities, Commerce, Science or Health Science, if you are doing research, the chances are you are creating significant data. The way you approach the management of your data will impact on your research experience - good habits will simplify your data management, lending clarity to your project, and delivering efficiencies by eliminating double handling of data sets, and difficulties in tracking the files you create. In this session we will also discuss data handling practices and tools which simplify data description, making your data ready for reuse and archiving.
This session is of most use to Masters and Doctoral candidates who are collecting and managing their own research data.
For further information on this session please contact Justin Farquhar, Subject Librarian, Division of Sciences.
