Referencing: why and how? Using APA style as our example, we will cover: 

• The component parts that make up an accurate reference for different types of sources, for example, books, articles, webpage, etc. 

• How to understand references in a reading list so you can find the texts 

• How to make sure your own references are correctly presented 

• The importance of accurate referencing
